Reach Out & Read 5K Brings Health Professions Together

On April 25, WVU School of Pharmacy Kappa Psi Beta Eta hosted the annual Reach Out & Read 5K at the WVU Rec Center, bringing together 64 participants in support of early literacy. The event collected 82 book donations toward local Reach Out & Read pediatric offices, and featured interprofessional collaboration between pharmacy, nursing, dental and medical students, who led engaging children’s activities to promote health, education and community outreach.
