Murray to be honored at investiture ceremony
The West Virginia Health Sciences family is invited to join the School of Medicine in honoring Ann Marie Murray, M.D., as the Hubert A. & Hazel L. Shaffer Clinical Professorship in Neurology.
The ceremony takes place on Wednesday, April 8, at 4 p.m. in the HSC Pylons Commons. A reception will follow.
Dr. Murray is a professor in the West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Neurology and the WVU Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute (RNI). She serves as chief of the Movement Disorders Division and medical director of the Care at the Rock Concierge Program housed within RNI. She was also recently elected Vice Chief of State for WVU Medicine.
Murray completed her neurology residency training, earned her medical degree, and a bachelor’s degree in biology, all from WVU, and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
