M.D. Alumni Weekend 2021 Update

School of Medicine Family and Friends,
 
Alumni Weekend is our time to connect with old friends and meet new members of our Mountaineer Family.
 
While we entered this fall with the most optimistic of intentions, it has unfortunately become clear that we must act in the best interest of our alumni, guests and community members by canceling all in-person, School of Medicine-specific portions of our Alumni Weekend.
 

Virtual School of Medicine Events


Pre-registration is required for the following events.

Friday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. - Virtual alumni program, class reunions and presentation of the 2021 Distinguished Alumnus award via Zoom. Put on your gold and blue, grab your favorite snack and join us for conversation and comradery. 

Saturday, Oct. 2, at 8 a.m. - Business Meeting on Zoom. 

Modified Events and Information

  • Alumni Tailgate – This event has been canceled. If you have already purchased tickets to the tailgate, Alumni Affairs is working to refund your money.
  • Football Tickets - If you have already purchased football tickets and are not requesting a refund, we will mail them to you or make other arrangements. For those requesting refunds, our Alumni Affairs team is in the process of expediting refunds.
  • As a reminder to those who booked a hotel, you are responsible for contacting the hotel and cancelling your reservation as soon as possible.
