Dr. Ramazan Gun joins the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery
The West Virginia University School of Medicine welcomes Ramazan Gun, M.D., a new head and neck surgeon with the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Gun joins the department as an associate professor who specializes in ablative head and neck surgery; reconstructive surgery of the head and neck; and pediatric head and neck masses and disorders.
Gun received his medical degree from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa School of Medicine, in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his otolaryngology residency at Cukurova University, Balcali Hospital, in Adana, Turkey. He completed a clinical fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and a clinical fellowship in head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction, both at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center. He also previously completed a clinical fellowship in pediatric-oncologic otolaryngology at the University of Tennessee, where he worked at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
Gun will be seeing patients at the WVU Cancer Institute in the head and neck otolaryngology clinic.
